At One Future Collective, we look at education as a tool for developing socially conscious leaders. Our educational content and material is geared towards embedding a spirit of inquiry in individuals and our approach towards facilitation is one that fosters co-learning. Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 of the United Nations is quality education, our work focuses on expanding our understanding of education and building a movement that nurtures social leadership while fostering a constant cycle of learning, unlearning and relearning.
Through our work towards quality education we are building a cohort of young social leaders across the fields of gender, mental health, legal reform and development policy. These young changemakers will lead social development across multiple sectors, furthering the other SDGs, especially SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
Our specialised curriculums are backed by our Board of Advisors and mentors, all of whom are leading practitioners in their respective industries. We conduct workshops towards building awareness across all our verticals of work, with the aim of facilitating informed social engagement and leadership. We also conduct longer term trainings that engage participants in social impact projects and gives them a more in-depth knowledge of the subject matter.
These workshops and trainings are suited for multiple environments, customized to match unique expectations and needs. We work with educational institutions, workplaces, residential complexes and groups of independent individuals. Before the session, we conduct a needs assessment of the group involved, to customise the curriculum for higher impact and follow that with assessment to gauge impact. The sessions can be conducted in Hindi, English, Marathi, and Malayali. Our workshops and trainings are offered at specified rates, and pro bono on a case-by-case basis.
