Position Title: Senior Program Officer, Advocacy

Reporting to: Lead, Advocacy

Role: Hybrid 

CTC:  4,20,000 INR which includes,

  1. 3,60,000 INR to be paid out monthly i.e. 30,000 x 12;
  2. 60,000 INR (5,000 INR per month) to be paid at the end of the year as a retention bonus;*
  3. Health Insurance worth 5 lakhs INR.

*Please note that this retention bonus will not be paid if the stipulated duration of engagement is not completed for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to being let go due to poor performance or any other reason. 

About the Role: This is a full-time, hybrid role. We prefer for the candidate to be based out of Delhi, Mumbai or Bangalore but are open to candidates who are present in other cities within India too. 

  1. A master’s degree in development studies, law, policy, literature or a related field. 
  2. At least 1 year of relevant full-time work experience in a role that demonstrates the ability to be creative, and engaging. 
  3. Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work in a fluid entrepreneurial environment, including willingness to learn new systems or approaches quickly.
  4. Ability to synthesise knowledge from different sources, build interlinkages and apply it to knowledge products and services.
  5. Outstanding written and oral communication skills with a strong attention to detail; 
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills;
  7. Experience in report writing, research analysis, visual presentation, proposal and application writing;
  8. Experience in social media collateral development, including copy;
  9. Experience in monitoring, evaluation, reporting and learning is highly desirable. 
  10. Highly organised and able to prioritise and multitask;
  11. Resourceful and has a problem-solving approach. 

Roles and responsibilities:

End-to-end production of Communication and Reporting Assets

  1. Timely preparation of the Annual report including data collection, analysis, drafting and presentation of the annual report; 
  2. Drafting and publication of quarterly progress reports to be disseminated internally and externally;
  3. Curate and regularly update the One Future Blog with regular updates in creative and engaging formats; 
  4. Lead the development of additional communication assets required for internal and external consumption; 
  5. Prepare proposals and applications, as necessary; 
  6. Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure that the resource(s) are fully developed and ready for dissemination;
  7. Strategise with other internal stakeholders to promote the outreach and consumption of the resources developed; 
  8. Anything else that may be required to ensure that all relevant communication and reporting assets are developed and disseminated successfully on time. 

Brand Management:

  1. Maintain brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications.
  2. Develop and implement marketing strategies for new and existing products.

Social Media Management

  1. Developing copy and design that aligns with the direction the organisation’s voice and tone desire to move towards. 
  2. Managing the organisation’s website and social media profiles and ensuring that it is up-to-date and engaging for visitors.

Please note that all deliverables under this vertical are varied and require a high amount of willingness to innovate. This role requires the candidate to be comfortable with picking up streams of research and information that they may not have engaged with extensively in the past.
