Position Title: Community Manager (Mumbai)
Reporting to: Lead, Programs
Role: Hybrid and Part-Time with a high level of offline engagement
CTC: 2,00,000 INR, which includes,
- 15,000 INR to be paid out monthly for 12 months, and
- 20,000 INR to be paid at the end of one year as a retention bonus;*
- Health Insurance worth 5 lakhs INR.
*Please note that this retention bonus will not be paid if the stipulated duration of engagement is not completed for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to being let go due to poor performance or any other reason.
About the Role
As One Future Collective’s alumni and community base grows, we want to invest sustained effort in engaging, supporting and amplifying them. Additionally, we want to expand our community and build relationships with new members. We require people for this role who are very self-motivated, are people persons enjoy a lot of social interaction and face time with new people and have a strong base in their local communities.
Key Requirements
We are looking for individuals passionate about social justice and looking to work with a young, dynamic, and dedicated team. You must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Strong understanding of social justice.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with members of the OFC community, including participants and alumni members.
- Ability to be a strong brand ambassador for One Future Collective.
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and multitask while paying close attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate and work with a remote team.
- Ability to thrive in a people-facing role, which requires a high level of communication with
- Strong interpersonal skills: teamwork, empathy and integrity.
Roles and responsibilities:
Setting up a City Specific Community Chapter
- Build a thriving alumni chapter in Mumbai by building strong relationships with alumni and identifying areas of building community.
- Managing the WhatsApp community of the Alumni chapter in Mumbai.
- Hosting offline meetups in Mumbai including securing venue partners, getting sign-ups for the event, designing the flow of the event and managing all operations.
Building offline partnerships
- Support the offline partnerships work of One Future Collective, including securing partnerships for the One Future Travelling Festival.
- Support the team in facilitating and documenting offline events.
Administrative and additional responsibilities
- Provide operational and technical support for the smooth implementation of our online alumni meetups.
- Prepare reports on the impact and areas of development of the alumni chapters according to the format and following the indicators provided.
Key Details:
- This is a part-time, hybrid role. You will work offline mainly on weekends and virtually for a few hours during the week. We are looking for people who are willing to work on weekends and in the evenings.
- We are open to student applicants for this role.
- This position will necessitate a significant amount of offline work, is very people-oriented, and requires a lot of social interaction.
