Strategic planning is a critical process for organizations committed to advancing human rights and gender equality, requiring sensitivity towards feminist and decolonial methodologies in a rapidly changing global landscape. We are thrilled to announce our partnership with  International Women’s Development Agency (IWDA) to support their strategic planning process. IWDA, a leading feminist organization based in Australia, is embarking on the development of their new Strategic Plan for 2025, and we are honored to contribute to this journey. Our consultancy will focus on trend mapping, identifying emerging shifts in the global feminist landscape, and delivering actionable insights to inform IWDA’s strategic direction. Our role includes providing a comprehensive analysis of trends across political, economic, social, technological, legal, and environmental dimensions, with particular attention to feminist movements, funding organizations, and women’s rights groups in Southeast Asia and the Pacific.

Our key objective is to help IWDA’s strategy project team navigate an evolving global landscape by identifying trends that will inform their long-term strategic decisions. By aligning these insights with their mission of advancing gender equality and feminist movements, we aim to contribute to IWDA’s goals and long-term vision. We are excited about this collaboration as it enables us to engage in a responsive, forward-thinking process, empowering IWDA to co-create feminist futures. Our approach is grounded in feminist, intersectional, and decolonial principles, allowing us to recognize and navigate the complexity of social change. By using forward-thinking methodologies like future forecasting and scenario planning, we aim to support IWDA in being equipped with proactive strategies to respond to global challenges, enabling them to anticipate and shape future possibilities rather than simply reacting to them.

As we move forward with this consultancy, we look forward to a rich, collaborative process that helps IWDA sharpen its strategic focus, ensuring that their future plans are aligned with both current and emerging global trends. Together, we will continue working towards building a world where gender equality thrives through collective action and solidarity.
