Tell us a little about yourself.
I am a lawyer and I graduated in 2018. Since then I have been working as a Law-clerk at the Supreme Court of India. I love trying new cuisines. I love travelling. I am also a huge Shahrukh Khan fan. Fun fact- I can recite the dialogues from Kuch Kuch Hota hai and KKKG beginning to end.
Tell us about what you do at One Future Collective?
I work as a Research Associate at the Feminist Justice project. Earlier this year, I worked on the Nawalgarh project. Currently I am working on the feminist lawyering and movement lawyering curriculum.
Why One Future Collective?
I joined OFC with Nishma earlier this year because I wanted to continue working on the Feminist Lawyering curriculum. However, since joining I have found many principles at OFC that I have always associated with. For instance, the sexual harassment policy at OFC is gender neutral, and despite sounding like something that is a given, this is rare for Indian organisations.
Your favourite One Future Collective memory.
Being in Delhi, I am away from Mumbai team and haven’t had the chance to meet the team yet. I hope to, really soon though.
What inspires you?
The fear of failing and never fulfilling my goals.
