Position Title: Senior Program Manager 

Reporting to: Lead, Consulting

Role: Hybrid 

CTC:  6,00,000 INR which includes,

  1. 4,80,000 INR to be paid out monthly i.e. 40,000 x 12;
  2. 60,000 INR [5,000 INR per month) will be paid at the end of the year or split on a half-yearly basis as is mutually agreed as variable pay to be paid out on the successful completion of all KPIs by the candidate;
  3. 60,000 INR (5,000 INR per month) to be paid at the end of the year as a retention bonus;*
  4. Health Insurance worth 5 lakhs INR.

*Please note that this retention bonus will not be paid if the stipulated duration of engagement is not completed for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to being let go due to poor performance or any other reason. 

About the Role: This is a full-time, hybrid role. We prefer for the candidate to be based out of Delhi, Mumbai or Bangalore but are open to candidates who are present in other cities within India too. 

Key Requirements

We are looking for individuals who can fulfil the following criteria. 

  1. A bachelor’s degree in development studies, law, policy, or a related field. 
  2. At least 2+ years of relevant full-time work experience. A master’s in a relevant field may be considered as work experience.
  3. Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work in a fluid entrepreneurial environment, including willingness to learn new systems or approaches quickly.
  4. Ability to synthesise knowledge from different sources, build interlinkages and apply it to knowledge products and services.
  5. Outstanding written and oral communication skills. 
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills;
  7. Strong project management and implementation skills;
  8. Highly organised and able to prioritise and multitask;
  9. Ability to have strong attention to detail;
  10. Is confident in maintaining external business relationships;
  11. Ability to communicate and work with a remote team;
  12. Resourceful and has a problem-solving approach;

Roles and responsibilities:

Business Development and Partnerships 

  1. Identifying and generating business relationships with diverse partners who we can offer our consulting services. 
  2. Research, drafting, and development of suitable proposals/applications to be submitted for potential consulting opportunities. 
  3. Relationship building and maintenance with current and new, potential partners. 
  4. Developing and executing our business development and partnership strategy in collaboration with the leads of the vertical. 

Execution of Consulting Agreements 

  1. Ensuring smooth on-boarding and off-boarding of partners. 
  2. Managing the end-to-end project management for different consulting projects including but not limited to budgeting, time and resource allocation and management, as well as operational execution of the entire project. 
  3. End-to-end execution of consulting deliverables including but not limited to
    1. Creative ideation for different projects; 
    2. Conducting suitable research across different thematic areas that pertain to inclusion, justice, feminist leadership, and social justice; 
    3. Writing research and project reports as required for the different consulting projects; 
    4. Development of suitable tools, frameworks, and products for facilitation, advocacy, and capacity building; 
    5. All other related activities. 
  4. Ensuring smooth and timely communication with external partners and team members about the progress of deliverables. 
  5. Completing all allied activities about the execution of consulting agreements and being responsible for the delivery of all consultancy-related deliverables. 

Please note that all deliverables under this vertical are varied and require a high amount of willingness and capacity to innovate. This role requires the candidate to be comfortable with picking up streams of research and information that they may not have engaged with extensively in the past.
