About the Fellowship
The One Future Fellowship is the first of its kind social justice and feminist leadership program for women, queer and trans folks from South Asia. We believe in the power of each person leading change and invest in germinating such leadership in underrepresented communities and pockets of the world. We nurture value-led social justice leaders who radically transform every space they occupy.

Action
Projects
Central to the fellowship, fellows undertake micro-action projects and a capstone project to apply their learnings practically and promote social justice. Frequently Asked Questions
What's the fellowship's capacity and geographic scope?
We’re expanding our reach for the upcoming edition, aiming for 100 fellows in a single cohort. This includes participants from across South Asia, not just India.
What should applicants know about the process? Are reapplications accepted?
The application process requires thoughtful and candid responses, and we accept and encourage applications in various formats, so potential fellows can help us get to know them better. Past rejection doesn’t bar reapplication. We value honesty and critical engagement in applications.
How does the fellowship address financial constraints?
Understanding the importance of accessibility, we offer need-based financial aid with fully and partially funded seats. The program fee is 30,000 INR, but financial barriers should not deter potential fellows.
What level of engagement is expected? Are there opportunities after completion?
The fellowship demands a 20-hour weekly commitment. It’s primarily a developmental program, so while it doesn’t guarantee post-program placements, it significantly enhances leadership skills in social justice.
Is there any preparatory course offered?
Yes! Two short self paced pre-courses on Social Justice and Feminist Leadership are available to all participants. They are optional and free, aiming to align the knowledge level of incoming fellows.
