Spot One Future Collective at the Asia Pacific Beijing+30 Review Meetings!

The Beijing+30 review process is now underway, with a variety of local and international events. Vandita Morarka, Founder and CEO of One Future Collective, co-creator of Feminist Manch, and member of the Steering Committee, is in attendance and representing us. She will be in Bangkok from November 16th to 21st, promoting feminist solidarity and institutional action.

Feminist organisations often have limited opportunities for cross organisational collaboration. We are bringing together feminist civil society organisations from urban India to foster collective strategising, solidarity and action to further feminist demands within social justice and human rights agendas.

Fat people face harassment and discrimination while accessing public spaces, both by other people using these spaces and through the design of the public spaces. This hinders access to rest, joy and leisure for fat people, amongst restricting their access to the city itself. We are organising champions in Mumbai to demand accessible public spaces for fat people.
